I am not able to successfully place my order.  What's wrong?

Is my online purchase secure?

Yes, your purchase is secure. When you click the "Checkout" button to complete your order, you'll notice that your browser navigation window switches from an "http" prefix to "https" to indicate a secure, encrypted connection.


Can I order fusebox by phone?

We do not offer the option to order fusebox by phone. Our website ordering process is fast and secure.


Are there any wine shops in my area that sell fusebox?

We are in the early stages of signing up retailers. As of 4/15/08, you may purchase fusebox at:

- Napa Valley Winery Exchange, San Francisco
- Oak Barrel Winecraft, Berkeley
- Just Grapes, Chicago
- Vin Village, San Diego


I ordered a fusebox but didn't receive a receipt by email. What happened?

Chances are, your email client spam filter errantly identified our confirmation receipt as junk. You'll want to look for it there first. If you still can't locate it, please email hayden@crushpadwine.com and we'll resend it.


Is there a price discount if I purchase fuseboxes in bulk?

Occasionally we will provide special volume discounts to Crushpad customers who have joined our mailing list.


Can I include a gift message for the recipient?

Good idea. It's not available yet but we're going to enable this option in the future.


Is gift wrapping available?

Gift wrapping is not available.



SHIPPING FUSEBOX


Can I have a fusebox shipped outside the U.S.?

We currently do not offer international shipping, as fuseboxes are delivered by FedEx Ground service. As well, international shipping costs would exceed the $120 cost of the fusebox itself.


How long will it take to receive my fusebox after placing my order?

Orders are typically processed within 48 hours – excluding holidays and weekends.

Delivery Times:

- San Francisco Bay Area: One business day after ship date.
- Southern California: 2 business days after ship date.
- Entire Pacific Coast: 2-3 business days after ship date.
- Midwest, Mountain, Southwest: 4 business days after ship date.
- * Northeast, Southeast: 5 business days after ship date.

*Sometimes wine shipped to the Northeast and Southeast will not get there until the following Monday.


Why is there no option for 2-day or overnight shipping?

We plan to offer these options very soon. Because each fusebox weighs approximately 15 pounds, however, the express shipping cost will nearly equal the cost of the fusebox itself.


What are the shipping charges for each fusebox?

It depends upon where it will be shipped. Shipping charges are based on weight and destination fees for FedEx Ground according to the following table:

Sales Tax will be charged for the following states: CA-8.5%; CT-6%; ID-5%; NV-7.75%; NH-8%; NY-8.5%; NC-7%; ND-8%; SC-7%; TX-8.25%; VA-5%; WA-6.5%; WY-12%.


Is there a reduced delivery charge if I ship multiple fuseboxes to a single address?

Unfortunately, no. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance shipped. Each fusebox is individually packaged in its own shipping box, secured with packing material to prevent breakage.


Can I have FedEx leave my fusebox with a neighbor if I'm not home to receive it?

Unfortunately, no. As you might imagine, shipping regulations as they pertain to alcohol are very rigorous in requiring that an adult at the shipping address sign for their fusebox. We suggest that you list a shipping address where you'll frequently be from 9 am - 5 pm -- for many of you this will be your workplace.


Contents in my fusebox were damaged. What should I do?

Despite our best efforts, occasionally the contents of a fusebox will be damaged in transit. Should this happen, please report it to shipping@crushpadwine.com or 415-558-9181 and we will promptly ship a replacement piece at no cost.


Can I re-route a fusebox that's being shipped?

Sorry, no. Shipping regulations as they pertain to alcohol do not allow for changing the shipping address once a package is en route.


I'd like to pick up my fusebox at Crushpad and save the shipping costs. How do I do that?

During the online ordering process just prior to "Checkout", you will presented a summary of your costs. The delivery cost will default to Ground Shipping. If you wish to pick up your fusebox at the Crushpad Logistics Center and save the shipping costs, however, you can simply click on the drop down menu and select "Pick up / Local."
